Normans Attic and Rockwell's Models Reunion

Saturday, August 7th is Norman's Attic, Arlington's 16th Annual Craft Fair and Town Wide Tag sale. The management of this event is now with St. James Episcopal church. Part of the church's mission is to give back to the local community. All local non-profit organizations have booth space at no charge. Last year we estimate that over 2,000 people came through town for the event, and we're hoping to see that expand this year. Yankee Magazine recently listed Norman's Attic as one of Vermont's Top 20 Events!

Part of Norman's Attic festivities, this year is a reunion of many of the folks who posed for Norman Rockwell during his years in Arlington from 1939 - 53. Over 20 models will be on hand to share their memories, give presentations and sign prints and books. Don Trachte will also present a slide show about his father's famous duplication of Rockwell's "Breaking Home Ties" and Buddy Edgerton will present information from his new book about the Norman Rockwell and his family.
