Experience and discover true Vermont with "Backroad Discovery Tours" You will get close up and personal with abandoned marble quarries, working farms, quaint one-of-a-kind hamlets, historic registered places , local artisans, an alpaca plantation and much much more. Since their unique touring vehicles are limited to 6 to 8 passengers, you will have a chance to ask questions of personal interest and take personal photo shots as well.
The following day, we'll set you off with a picnic basket and directions for a beautiful drive through the Green Mountains of the National Forest. There'll be plenty of great hiking spots along the way for you to enjoy if you wish, as well as great scenic views. Perhaps you'll picnic on a large sunny rock next to the Roaring Branch River or at Grout Pond with a quiet spot for you to gaze out over the calm reflective waters.
